One of our very own Audi Club AZ members returned from a COTA event last month in the Lone Star State beaming from an amazing experience up close and personal with some of racing’s elite. For those who aren’t familiar with COTA, it stands for Circuit of the Americas. The 2015 Lone Star Le Mans returned to COTA and was held over the September 17-19th in Austin, Texas – an incredible line-up of three major championship events roaring through three days and nights. Kicking off with the Porsche GT3 Cup and culminating with the six-hour World Endurance Championship, as one sports write noted, “…it was a motorsport lover’s dream.”
Colin Whicher, Audi Club member and motorsport enthusiast, was there to take it all in first hand. He also realized one of the benefits of being an Audi Club member as ACNA members received substantially reduced tickets to the event, entry to the Audi Hospitality Pavilion, Audi swag, pit tours, and more.
